Win 2000/2003 Database Only Server

Memory Requirements - 256mb base 15mb per user
Disk Requirements (scsi, raid 1) – 36gb system disk 72gb app disk
Users per processor – 50
Users per hyper threaded processor – 75-100
Internet Explorer Version – Current
Service Pack Level - Current

Note: Microsoft Small Business Server is not detailed here as it is NOT SUPPORTED by Progress.

PC Specification

Any Microsoft Operating System and Office Requirements take precedence over these figures.

Disk 8gb
O/S Windows XP
PC’s running the Outlook interface will require a minimum Outlook version of Outlook 2003 Service pack 2.

Third Party Software Considerations

Microsoft Cluster Server
Progress 10.0B is supported against Microsoft Cluster Manager MSCS v1.2 Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition

M/S Office

SOS Connect links to M/S Office XP and upwards to make use of the outlook link with office 2003 you need office service pack 2 or above.
